Social Media Break

Social Media Break

Hello Creative Friends!

I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted on social media. I wanted to take a break from social media after this holiday season. I’m so glad I did because during the break I got to enjoy some time with my creative self. Although I took a break from social media, I didn’t take a break from creating or my ideas.

One thing I did want to mention is that I will be working on shifting somethings around. I want to focus more on growing my blog.

I usually have a ton of things I want to say on Instagram, however because of the content hamster wheel that Instagram or really all social media is I wonder if anyone is actually reading the caption on my posts. Then I start to wonder, “Am I putting way too much effort into something that someone isn't really going to read? Maybe people just want to look at pretty pictures? I mean that's cool too! Nothing wrong with that!”. I know that I can create videos and other types of media too, but honestly sometimes those can be time and labor intensive that I feel I get more sucked into figuring out the logistics than actually getting my point across. When it comes to video I am still a bit shy to be honest. That’s something I’m working on I promise! But in the mean time I wanted to find my own way to find in a balance between my introverted and my extroverted side!

I would really appreciate your support as I transition more to this space. What does that mean? Well, it means that you will find both visual and written content. I want to expand on ideas that I may share on Instagram and I feel like this is the best way to do it. I’m not quite sure how it will look like entirely, however, my idea so far is that I will be using my blog to elaborate on content or ideas that may come up on Instagram. This space will serve as a place to dive deeper into my ideas and projects!

For now, the best way to be notified of when a new blog post, project, and/or product is available is by signing up for my newsletter. I promise to keep it short and sweet! I hope you look forward to my email in your inbox and that it brings you joy!

Thank you for supporting me!
